About Me

Hi, I’m Emily – your local pet sitter with over four years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have four lovable dogs at home, so I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust with your pets.

From energetic puppies who need extra exercise to senior cats who just want a comforting lap, I tailor my care to meet each pet’s needs. My goal is to make sure your pets are happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away.

Volunteering

I’m passionate about giving back to the animal community and regularly volunteer my time with local rescue and pet welfare organizations. Check out these amazing groups I support:

SPOT – Saving Pets One at a Time

SPOT (Saving Pets One at a Time) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit animal rescue organization based in North County San Diego. Dedicated to saving dogs and cats from euthanasia in local shelters, SPOT provides foster care, medical treatment, and behavioral support to help animals recover and find loving, permanent homes. The group’s mission centers on compassion, prevention, and education, with an emphasis on spaying and neutering to reduce overpopulation.

Beyond rescue, SPOT works closely with the community through adoption events, educational outreach, and partnerships supporting low-income families. Although the organization does not accept owner-surrendered pets, it offers resources to help re-home them responsibly. Entirely funded by donations, SPOT envisions a future where every companion animal in San Diego County is safe, healthy, and valued.

Coastal K9 German Shepherd Rescue

Coastal K9 German Shepherd Rescue is committed to giving at-risk German Shepherds a second chance at life, operating entirely on volunteer power and donor support. The rescue places each dog in a caring environment where foster care, individualized attention and rehabilitation are provided from the moment they arrive.

In addition to placing dogs, the organization educates the public about responsible ownership of German Shepherds—covering topics like breed traits, lifespan, activity levels and the importance of spay/neuter. Their ultimate aim is to reduce overpopulation and give each rescue a stable, loving home.

FACE Foundation

The FACE Foundation is a volunteer-driven nonprofit based in San Diego and Oʻahu, established in 2006 to help pets stay in their loving homes when families face financial hardship. Their mission: to end euthanasia due to financial reasons and provide life-saving veterinary support to pets whose owners cannot afford it.

Through its “Save-A-Life” grant program, FACE partners with veterinary clinics to grant direct financial support for emergency and critical care. It supports low-income families, veterans, students, people experiencing homelessness, and others at risk of losing their pet simply because the cost of care is out of reach.

Soi Dog

Soi Dog Foundation is on a mission to end the suffering of stray and abandoned dogs and cats across Asia. With its roots in Thailand, the charity now operates internationally and is legally registered in multiple countries, reflecting its broad reach and ambition.

Key to its work is large-scale sterilization and vaccination (often called CNVR: Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), rescue operations including from the dog-meat trade, and educational programs to change attitudes toward animals. The organization has also earned a strong reputation for transparency and effectiveness, helping it mobilise donors and support worldwide.
